So, I wasn't aware people still updated their xangas... =DD I suppose it's a nice outlet. Not that I have much to say, cus when I do I just talk to somone... maybe that's just me...

Mmm. The best of times are so unplanned.
here I thought I was going to be bored out of my mind.
but no.

then over to his house...

I'm getting spoiled. And I'm loving it.

1 Week Until School *cries*

That's actually a really scary thought right there.... I can't even imagine waking up at 6:30 every day, going to school for 7 hours, marching band for 2 hours, then homework, then food, then repeat over and over again with band trips on the weekends. Though it might be easier than last year with soccer....meh. =//

BUT. On the other hand, today was the most fun I've had in a looonng time. My family plus a few extras (haha... extras) went sailing/played on the beach for like 6 hours. Goodness I love those extra people. ;D Then band was sweeet cus we only had a three hour practice which is nothing compared to band camp. So I'm relatively happy. Well. I should be anyway.

Now just have to write the speech for English...make it through wednesday....have fun on thursday...and get through orientation friday. Woot. And Saturday....I won't even think about it. It'll make my mind do swirls. And let me tell you, my mind is not made to do swirls.

Things I learned at Band Camp

1. You will eat anything when you are hungry enough.

2. One more time does not mean it is the last time.

3. The weight difference between trumpets and baritones makes me cry.

4. 'Ball' jokes never get old.

5. Bananas are not slang for anything. Neither are pajamas. And neither is bananas in pajamas....

6. Every table should have a cookie bowl. Every table should have a little Asian trumpet player as welll, but I doubt you can require that. And I think the band would run out of little Asian trumpet players.

7. Best freinds make band camp 10 times easier.

8. Bus rides can be very, very amusing.

9. Especially when baritones and flutes are together.

and finally? Marching band is wayyy better when you're not watching from the stands.
